The Society of Manufacturing Engineers Scholarship Opportunities - Deadline February 1, 2026

The SME Education Foundation operates the nation’s largest scholarship program dedicated to advancing manufacturing talent. In 2025, SME awarded nearly $1 million to exceptional students across the country. With scholarships ranging from $2,500 to $20,000, students have multiple opportunities to fund their futures. American Legion Oratorical Scholarship Program - Deadline February 9, 2026

The American Legion Oratorical Contest exists to develop deeper knowledge and appreciation for the U.S. Constitution among high school students. Since 1938, the program has presented participants with an academic speaking challenge that teaches important leadership qualities, the history of our nation’s laws, the ability to think and speak clearly, and an understanding of the duties, responsibilities, rights and privileges of American citizenship. Horatio Alger Undergraduate Scholarships - Deadline February 15, 2026

Horatio Alger Association administers over 70 scholarship programs, offering opportunities for students in various stages of their academic careers to achieve their educational goals and realize their potential. Please visit HERE for more information and to apply.

 

Pittman Family Scholarship Fund - Deadline March 1, 2026

The Pittman Family Scholarship Fund is for students who are children of employees of the City of Knoxville Fire Department. Students must have a minimum of a 2.75 GPA and be enrolled in a 2 or 4 year college or trade school following graduation. It is a one time disbursement of $5,000 dollars. The Ned McWherter Scholars Program - Deadline March 2, 2026

The Ned McWherter Scholars Program consists of $6,000 per academic year, $3,000 from the State of Tennessee and $3,000 from the college or university attended. To be eligible, students must be a resident of Tennessee and a U.S. citizen, permanent resident, or eligible non-citizen, attend an eligible Tennessee college or university full-time within 16 months following graduation from high school, have a minimum ACT composite of a 32 (1430 SAT) and a minimum cumulative high school GPA of 3.75. The 2026 Arconic Foundation Scholarship Program - Deadline March 7, 2026

The Arconic Foundation Scholarship Program is for students who are children or grandchildren of Arconic employees. To be eligible, students must be in their final year of high school. More information can be found HERE and the application can be found HERE

 

The Evan Richey Memorial Scholarship - Deadline March 15, 2026

The Evan Richey Memorial Scholarship will award at least two $2,000 scholarships to Knox County high school seniors who will be attending college in Fall 2026. Applicants must have a minimum GPA of 3.0, a KCS 2026 graduate, and attending college in the fall. More information and applications can be found in the HVA counseling office and at the link HERE

 

HVES PTO Future Teacher Scholarship - Deadline March 20, 2026

Hardin Valley Elementary School’s PTO Future Teacher Scholarship is designed to support graduating seniors who plan to pursue a career in education. This scholarship recognizes students who have been inspired by their own teachers and who demonstrate a genuine commitment to becoming future educators. Applicants are asked to reflect on the influence of a teacher in their life, their motivation for choosing teaching as a profession, and, when applicable, their experiences in the Teaching as a Profession (TAP) pathway. Scholarship funds may be used to support college-related expenses such as books, supplies, and other educational costs. The application can be found linked HERE.  

 

Andy Hutson Service Award Scholarship - Deadline March 20, 2026

The Kiwanis Club of Northside Knoxville, Inc. and its associated Student Fund announce the availability of the Andy Hutson Service Award. This award is based primarily on an individual’s service to the community. The award is available to any Knox County resident who is or is planning on being enrolled in any accredited institute of higher learning in the coming year, and who has not previously received a scholarship, grant or award from any Kiwanis-affiliated organization. Scott Impellizeri Memorial Scholarship - Deadline March 20, 2026

This scholarship is available to all graduating seniors at Hardin Valley Academy who are pursuing a college education and demonstrate a passion for helping others. A minimum of one $2,000 scholarship is awarded every year. Recipients are chosen based on what they do to help others within our community. Their letter of recommendation is an important part of the selection process as well. There has been $50,000 in scholarships awarded since 2012. Scott Impellizeri Memorial Scholarship for Criminal Justice - Deadline March 20, 2026

This scholarship is available to graduating seniors within all Knox County high schools. It offers a $2,000 scholarship to seniors who are pursuing a college education, following the criminal justice path, and who demonstrate a passion for helping others. There has been $13,000 in criminal justice scholarships awarded since 2014. The criminal justice scholarship application can be downloaded HERE

 

Student-View Scholarship Program - Deadline April 23, 2026

The Student-View Scholarship Program offers over $13,000 worth of scholarships to high school seniors who plan to attend a 4 year college, community/junior college, or career school. The application consists of a survey about colleges in your area and the scholarships are awarded via a random drawing. Please visit HERE for more information and to complete the application.
